How to make the patties:
Wash and drain the lamb.
Add minced onion, salt, pepper, minced green chilis, almond powder, minced ginger, and garlic.
Cook the soaked black and white beans and grind them without water.
Add the beans to the lamb and squeeze in the lemon juice.
Mix all the ingredients well into the lamb and let it rest for an hour.
Make balls and flatten them to make patties.
Drizzle olive oil and grill for 60 minutes at 3200F, flipping every 15 minutes.

Toast the brioche buns and butter them.
Place a patty on top and then top with onion, tomato, and cucumber slice and a lettuce leaf.
Drizzle the mint sauce on top and place the other half of the bun on top.
- You can substitute dried beans with canned beans.
- Whole wheat buns can be substituted for the brioche buns.
- Ground chicken can be used in lieu of ground lamb.
- Tomato ketchup and mustard may be added (or substituted for the mint sauce), although they are not required as the lamb patties are quite flavorful.
- Drain the lamb until there is no more water dripping. There is no need to squeeze out all the water.
